May 25th, 2020 will forever be a day that many Americans and quite frankly most of the world will remember. It was a day of many emotions: shock, sadness, anger, and disbelief. It was a face to face meeting with evil itself and just what it can do to someone in broad daylight.

George Floyd was born October 14th, 1973 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He was like many of us while growing up in Houston, Texas. A man with dreams and ambition all while trying to overcome the obstacles that had been dealt to him in life. He wanted to be “BIG”. Not just in his physical stature at 6’6, but in life. He wanted to go places, see things, and make a difference. He wanted to impact the world and be remembered for doing something great.

It’s hard to say what lies ahead for any of us later today, tomorrow, or a year from now. But one thing is for sure, you should never loose that spark in you to do something great. Mr. Floyd never did and we honor him for that.

We’d like to welcome you to our First Episode of Authentic Filters: George Floyd | The Trial.
